We go pretty in depth with this at every appointment and provide you with your own take home guide however, below are a few things we think are really important when it comes to looking after you extensions at home.
Treat your new hair extensions to a sulphate free shampoo, this ensures the individual bonds remain intact as well as prolonging the colour. Be gentle when brushing and always brush from bottom to top. Place as little tension on the hair as possible by holding the hair close to the root and brushing down.
Never go to bed with wet hair, this encourages hair to tangle and bonds can become uncomfortable. It could also mean your maintenance will need to be done sooner. Separate the bonds daily with your fingers to avoid tangling.
